Dear Participant,
Welcome to the Future Citizens Game! This urban adventure blends digital challenges with real-world exploration. To be able to enjoy the game to its fullest, we need you to register and share some of your personal data with us.
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who are we?
The European Future Citizen Erasmus + project consortium is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We determine the purposes and means of processing your personal data in relation to the GDPR regulations.
What are the GDPR rules?
The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a legislation adopted by the EU in 2016, which aims to protect individuals personal data rights in light of the Digital Age. The GDPR outlines 6 data protection principles that all organizations need to follow when collecting, processing and storing individuals’ personal data.
What Data do we collect?
We may collect and process the following personal data:
Identity Data: country of origin, name, username, nickname and name of your group of players
Contact Data: e-mail address
Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform
Usage Data: information about how you use our game.
Data rights according to GDPR
As stated in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) everyone has the following rights when it comes to handling personal data:
● Right of access: They have the right to get insight in the data someone has about them.
● Right of rectification: They have the right to have incorrect information corrected.
● Right to erasure/right to be forgotten: In special cases, they have the right to have their information deleted before an indicated time of automatic deletion.
● Right to restriction of processing: In some cases they have the right to restrict the use of their data. In such cases someone can only use the data with their approval.
● Right to object: In certain cases they can object to a lawful management of their data.
Data Retention
The European Future Citizen Erasmus + project consortium will retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. All collected data will be securely stored and after the project implementation period, all data collected will be deleted.
